BRAVE NEW WORLD

A NIGHTMARE OR A BEAUTIFUL DREAM? THE CLASSIC OF THE SCI-FI GENRE FOR THE FIRST TIME ON THE CZECH STAGE.
What is the brave new world like? Stability, prosperity, no wars, poverty and hunger. No monogamy because everyone belongs to everyone else. Well, isn't that the most reasonable arrangement after all?
Babies are born from a test tube. No one is dissatisfied because they are all predestined for their future lot in society: Epsilons working in factories, Betas in laboratories, Alphas in leadership positions. And if a negative emotion comes to someone, there is always soma - a drug to suppress emotions, after which there is no unpleasant hangover... God does not exist, love does not exist, art does not exist. They were replaced by sensational cinemas and instant satisfaction of all needs. All the same, all happy. Isn't that the world you want to live in?
But then a stranger enters the ideal society: John, who was born in a savage reserve. John still knows religion, he has read Shakespeare, he wants to love, to own, but first he has to integrate into a new society... Will he destroy it, or will it destroy him?
